Roxas

A boy who lived in Twilight Town and saw Sora's memories in dreams. His summer vacation has come to an end, and many of his thoughts and feelings with it. -Jiminy's Journal

His Story

Roxas first appears in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts, Deep Dive and Another Side, Another Story where he fought with the heartless. In both FMVs though, Roxas' face was never revealed until in the ending of Riku's story in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Roxas appears again in Kingdom Hearts II with his own story. We first control Roxas for a trial of six days in the Kingdom Hearts II prologue. There, Roxas lives a normal of a 15-year old boy with his best friends, Hayner, Pence and Olette in Twilight Town. During the six days, Roxas would get visions of Sora's life and journey in his dreams.

In the first day we find out more about his hometown and also we find out that their -photos- where missing. Roxas confronts a Nobody and a Keyblade appeared in his hands. He fought the Nobody and takes back the photos. On the second day, while earning munny for a trip to the beach, Roxas was grabbed by a mysterious man in a black cloak and took his munny.

On the third day he meets Naminé. Naminé tells him that she wanted to see him at least once. This makes Roxas curious and follows her, but Nobodies attack him. He then gets transfered to the "Awakening" and fights more Nobodies. Darkness consumes him until Naminé reaches for his hand and saves him. He finds himself in a white room and Naminé introduces herself. Suddenly, mysterious man in a black cloak, appears once again and brings Roxas back to reality in Twilight Town.

On the fourth day a Struggle Competition comences and Roxas battles all the way to the top. During his battle with Vivi, the world around him froze and he meets Axel. Axel tells Roxas that he is a member of the Organization XIII and he has to bring back. This leads Roxas to confusion and wanted to know why he wields the Keyblade. He fought against Axel and then Roxas is once again back to his reality.

Before the end of the day, Roxas won the Struggle Competition and celebrates with his friends, eating Sea Salt Ice Cream on top of the train station clock tower. Roxas becomes dillusional and falls off and he starts to wonder what's going to happen to him. He calls out for Naminé, but Kairi answers instead. He awakes again in his room.

Roxas, Hayner, Pence and Olette on the fifth day, remembers their school project that was due by the end of summer and roams around Twilight Town, trying out the figure out the seven mysteries of the town. By the time they got to the seventh mystery, Hayner gets mad and didn't want to continue, because it was located at the Haunted Mansion. At the gate, Pence tells Roxas that there's a girl who lives up there. The blonde boy falls into a trance and he is once again in the mysterious white room with Naminé. He sees drawings of Sora and his travels. Naminé then tells Roxas that truth that they are nobodies that were never met to exist and Axel was his best friend. Roxas didn't like the idea and gets angry. Naminé apologizes and he is again back with Pence.

The sixth day finally comes and Roxas can't even communicate with his friends anymore. They are there, but they don't see him. Axel appears again, and Roxas tells him that he remembers that they were best friends. He runs off to the mansion and meets Naminé again. They have a final talk and make a promise that they will see each other again, even if they don't recognize each other, before she gets taken away by the mysterious masked man named, DiZ.

Roxas explores the mansion more and is confronted by Axel. He fights him and then he finds Sora sleeping. He gives himself up to complete Sora, so that Sora will be able to fight against the new evil.

We don't see Roxas again in the game, until The World That Never Was. He fights Sora, but failed and tells Sora that he makes a good other. He appears again when Naminé comes and saves Sora and company. They both fulfilled their promise and saw each other again. Roxas finally accepts his fate being a nobody and completes Sora.
